The HRS 2022 Tracker Version 2 file is now available. It contains all panel cases of the continuing cohorts (AHEAD, CODA, HRS, WB, EBB, MBB, LBB) and data from the newly screened Early Generation X (EGENX) cohort for households that were finalized by 12/31/23. Data for EGENX households finalized on or after January 1, 2024 are considered part of the 2024 HRS data collection. Their survey data will be included in the 2024 HRS Tracker File. Beginning with the 2022 HRS Tracker Version 2 data release, all weight variables previously included in the Tracker File have been moved to the Tracker Weights File. The Tracker file is created to facilitate the use of HRS data within and across waves. It has one observation for every person ever eligible to be interviewed in any wave and is updated with new information for every new survey wave. Refer to the Data Description for more information.
