GSA 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting
Austin, TX
Interested in linking experiences and circumstances in early life and young adulthood to later life functioning?
Join us in Austin for a GSA pre-conference workshop to learn more about the NEW Life History Mail Survey (LHMS) data in the Health and Retirement Study (HRS)!
HRS and its international sister studies have NEW life history data in a range of content areas including residential, educational, occupational, partnership, and health history in early and young adulthood. All this can be linked with HRS data on health, cognition, and psychosocial functioning in later life.
This pre-conference workshop will provide information about this new HRS data resource and the Gateway to Global Aging, which is working to harmonize the content of similar life history projects across the HRS family of studies.
Learn how to use sequence analysis of the data and hear how others are using the data in their research.
There will also be a short presentation on the Gateway Harmonized exit data.
