This workshop will feature presentations from principal investigators of the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) and three studies in the family of harmonized sister studies, the Mexican Health and Aging Study (MHAS), the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA), and the Longitudinal Study of Aging in India (LASI). The presenters will discuss their studies with a special emphasis on the Harmonized Cognitive Aging Project (HCAP). The goal of HCAP is to produce research diagnoses of dementia and related disorders. One presentation will focus on the Gateway to Global Aging, which assists data users in creating their own harmonized datasets.
