Abstract

Observational studies consistently show that individuals with higher levels of frailty are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease (AD), positioning frailty as both a clinical screening tool and a potential target for AD prevention. However, the aetiology of frailty and its causal role in AD remains unclear.
