Abstract | There is a strong and immediate need to collect more data and to construct better retirement income policy models. In the very near future, changes must be made to the U.S. retirement policy. These changes and the policy itself will only be effective if it is based on strong retirement models. The article describes recent efforts and developments that may interest those concerned with retirement issues. The HRS is praised for its ability to obtain the necessary information on older workers that has for so long been missing from the field of retirement research. |
