Statement and CV

Please attach statement (maximum one page) and a copy of your curriculum vitae

  • Coursework or experience in statistics, computing and/or biology

  • Experience with genetic epidemiology, genetic association studies, gene mapping of complex or Mendelian traits and/or statistical genetics

  • Any current research/interest in social-science genomics

  • If you are analyzing data for specific studies or developing methods, please explain in your statement

Travel Stipend

If you are applying for a stipend to help cover travel costs, please also submit a letter of support (one page maximum) from your advisor or department head. The letter of support should verify that the applicant is a student, post-doc, or early career researcher; information on how this training will help the applicant's career; and if there will be support for their genomic research after the course in their current department. Please note that the travel stipend is only meant to defray travel costs and cannot be used towards the $200 course registration fee.
