Exit Place of Death

This version of the Exit Place of Death restricted data product is based on respondents coded as deceased in the 2022 Tracker File (Early Version 2). It has 17,491 records, which are uniquely identified by Household Identifier (HHID) and Person Number (PN). The data set contains two previously unreleased variables collected during the exit interviews: state of death and state where the death certificate was issued.
