The Health and Retirement Study Contextual Data Resource (HRS-CDR) is a collection of user-friendly datasets that enable researchers to study the impact of place on health and well-being among HRS respondents.
This HRS-CDR data product was created by a joint project of the University of Southern California and the University of Michigan, sponsored by the National Institute on Aging (NIA_R21AG045625).
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Quality Index Files (EPA-EQI) provides measures of overall environmental quality estimated using principal component analysis on a set of selected data in five domains: air, water, land, built, and sociodemographic. Data are available at the county level and include 5-year estimates for years 2000-2005 and 2006-2010.
